LOW RATIOS & SMALL GROUPS

Our 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio allows for more support and stronger relationships with each child. Keeping our groups small creates a less-overwhelming environment for all kids.

LANGUAGE SUPPORTS

Visuals, schedules, and simple signs are incorporated into every interaction with our children to enhance communication. We also welcome all alternative communication devices.

ACCESSIBLE / ADAPTED PLAY SPACES

ADA-compliant facility and adapted play areas allow plenty of opportunities for tots with limited mobility. All areas are built with concepts of a "universal design" to allow inclusion of all children.

MEALTIME ENRICHMENT

We understand that well-balanced nutrition with a variety of flavors and textures is crucial to a child’s development, but not all children's sensory systems tolerate a large food repertoire. Our tots can eat their preferred foods while simultaneously having a chance to explore new fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins. We welcome children who depend on feeding tubes as well.

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

Big feelings are communication, not "bad" behavior. We are committed to understanding the full scope of children's needs and offering the proper supports as needed, which may include sensory tools, calm-down time, deep breathing exercises, and much more.

MOVEMENT

Sensory regulation is the foundation for all learning! Our students get a chance to walk, climb, and jump whenever their bodies need sensorimotor input. Movement is built into many activities, and a wide variety of equipment is available inside the classroom for tots who like to go, go, go!

ACADEMIC PREPARATION

Kindergarten readiness is incorporated into circle time, tabletop activities, and gross motor tasks to ensure that children are ready for big-kid school after graduating. Daily academics include age-appropriate writing, reading, math, and science activities, all built into a structured daily schedule to prepare children for participation and tolerance for adult-directed group tasks.
